Véronique Duplain, a Nikon Canada ambassador, is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in Montreal. In recent years, she has explored different spheres of photography and scenography before devoting herself to composition work with the #SelfieProject, on which she has been working for more than a decade.
She stands out with her brightly colored universe, her assumed eclectic post-modern style, and her images and installations that tell an elaborate narrative. Her approach is driven by a voluntary imposition of creative constraints that drive the development of new processes and the integration of advanced technologies such as robotics and 3D printing into her mediums of creative expression.
Véronique left aside a career in management in 2016 to invest full time in the visual world. Through her solo exhibitions in galleries, notably four years in a row at Arsenal Contemporary Art (2019-2022), she continues to work hard on increasingly ambitious projects.
Her projects have been presented in various festivals from Montreal to Berlin, and her works are part of various public and private collections. Art is for her a playground to explore, and she has not finished showing us her colors!
