I’m a Brisbane-based, self-taught photographer with over 20 years of experience in photography, Photoshop, and digital media. Although I’m an amateur in the sense that it’s a hobby rather than a profession, I approach the craft with the same dedication and curiosity as any working artist. Creating images is something I genuinely love, and it would be a dream one day to turn that passion into paid work.
I specialise in black-and-white architectural photography, drawn to the way structure, light, and shadow shape the mood of a scene. I’m equally passionate about the editing process; refining fine details, balancing tones, and bringing out subtle contrasts that help an image quietly come to life. For me, post-processing isn’t about changing a photo, but revealing more about the image that makes it more appealing and enjoyable for everyone.
My work focuses on capturing the quiet emotion within the built environment; those moments where geometry, atmosphere, and stillness come together to create something expressive. Whether I’m photographing a modern facade or an overlooked corner of a city street, I aim to reveal balance, beauty, and a sense of calm through thoughtful composition and detail. Photography is a way of slowing down and seeing the world with intention, and each image is an exploration of how architecture interacts with light and feeling.
