This series explores the artistic possibilities of underwater wedding photography. Every element was carefully planned—the selection of gowns that would flow naturally in water, the direction of poses to evoke serenity, and the use of pure sunlight filtering through the surface. All images were captured in real underwater environments without CGI or Al manipulation. The intention is not merely to create beautiful portraits, but to elevate wedding photography into fine art, where narrative and symbolism coexist.
Notably, some of the brides featured in this series could not swim at all. Yet, through a calming method / have developed-combining breath control and mental focus-they were able, within just 15 minutes, to remain underwater for 20 to 30 seconds while maintaining pure, unguarded expressions. I ask the judges to consider not only the photographic technique, but also the human process of guiding subjects toward such authenticity under extraordinary conditions.
