Bike Shadows

Photographed on the streets of Paris, Bike Shadows captures a fleeting moment of everyday movement. By framing the cyclist without a visible face, the image shifts attention away from identity and toward motion, light, and form.

The cobblestone street becomes an essential part of the composition, grounding the scene while the rider’s shadow stretches across the frame, creating a quiet visual echo. In black and white, shape and contrast take priority, allowing the geometry of the bicycle and the texture of the street to speak.

This work reflects my interest in noticing ordinary moments as they pass—small, often overlooked interactions between people and place that exist for only an instant before disappearing.
