An underwater series capturing Indonesia’s marine lakes teaming with millions of jellyfish. Thousands of years ago, the seabed was uplifted forming marine lakes completely cut off from the surrounding ocean. Over time, rain diluted the saltwater, providing a unique ecosystem for life to evolve. Without natural predators, the jellyfish lost their stinging cells. This photo represents human and animal coexistence in delicate ecosystems.
