Digital-Déjà-Vu

Between now and then.

Between analog & digital.

Hologram of another time.

This series makes the attempt to document the cultural stagnation durring the Lockdown. Therefore lonly locations have been photographed, to make the former events visible, they have been projected into the sceneries with the help of longexposor and light painting.

Through the projecting these holograms into the empty locations, digital people are brought into the analog places. Which appears like the other way round, to life during the last year. Compared to those various times we experienced digital events, meetings and even travels while sitting at home. These holograms bring up memories of past days and may be forerunners of what will come up again. A Digital-Déjá-Vu so to say.

Regarding those pictures small errors and glitches may turn up, which are clear indicators for the limits these digital infections bring within; the human interaction.
