A Wild Connection

Wildlife and wild spaces are diminishing, this series of work has put together over a multi-year timeframe with the purpose to connect the viewer with the wild. I feel it is my responsibility to use my images to tell stories of the plight of these species. Crushed over recent decades, there are few wild spaces not under conflict or threat. What better way to get these issues on the table than create evocative up close and unique images.

I often make my own equipment and certainly go the extra mile in coming up with innovative ways to capture wildlife, it is quite normal to forgo 100 good images in pursuit of one image that is different and meets my brief.

I care about wildlife and wild spaces, I hope the viewers will too after seeing my collection. Together we can use photography for good.
