White Sands National Park

Our goal is to travel to all of the National Parks and document the uninterrupted beauty earth has to offer. White Sands was exceptional. We spend the day capturing the park. Each section was different and the colors changed throughout the day. The sand sparkled in the noon sunlight. Getting lost in the beauty my family said "this is getting out of sand." The park is mesmerizing with very large landscapes ranging from blowing sand, pure sand, tall sand dunes, mountain backgrounds, sand reflecting the joy of sledding as if in the snow, sand angels, and various species of cacti. Upon reflection, the ripples in the sand contrasted with the free flowing sand captured the essence of the white sands and the geography/environment creating the setting. Capturing this photo required patience in waiting for the sand to stop blowing, a willingness to crawl in the sand to be one with the sand at its level and my family allowing me to wander until the perfect spot was found. The park is heavenly creating a perfect addition to the ineffable scapes collection.
