Project Permanent & Ephemeral

These photos of the L'hemisferic building designed by Santiago Calatrava form part of a personal project where I wanted to capture the fellowship between the permanent qualities of the structure and the ephemeral in the form of light and reflections. These architectural images intend to illustrate the relation between permanent and ephemeral and how it changes over time and in different light. In both images the permanent and ephemeral meet for that moment in creating a a permanent visual, in the one image an eye and in the other a star of light attaching itself to the structure. The images where taken at the blue hour and the golden hour times at which I thought would best display the relation between the permanent and ephemeral.
