Nyekundu

Nyekundu is a formidable male lion & one of the leaders of the Enkoyanai pride in the Olare Motorogi conservancy. We found the pride late one afternoon just before sunset. One of the males was sitting in the long grass & then we say Nyekundu come through bushes & I was able to shoot a few portraits before he moved off. I really like the depth of the image & the intensity of his eyes as they are illuminated by the setting sun.
