Shine your light

"Shine your light". This photograph is a portrait of a young woman from the interior of Spain in which I want to capture her soul and her rural ancestral roots. She sheds her own light in the darkness that surrounds her, a symbol of the uncertainty of her cultural context that could disappear in a few years. Her light and her mystery as a symbol of hope in this portrait.



Technically, the light is completely natural, as is the darkness, which is a contrast between the exterior and the interior within her own home.



The dress that she wears is an old wedding dress, traditional and unique from a part of the Salamanca region. The veil is a key element in this portrait that gives the photograph more drama and mystery.
