Passage To Paradise

Part of my 'Where Is Adam?' series. Created with photographs made in 4 different countries spanning between 2017 and Sep 2023. Implementing the beauty of 24 individual animals, from the shimmery scales of piranhas to the majestic presence of an eagle. The waterfall was photographed in Italy, beautiful as it originally is, 5 different angles are photographed to create this "self-fabricated" waterfall. Hundreds of layers blended by hand on my Wacom Cintiq pro using traditional painting techniques. If you get close to this piece, you'll discover 7 fish of two species, though I made sure to make some a challenge to find, piranhas, because their glittery scales match with the water diamonds, and an illuminating tilapia fish that blends almost seamlessly with the waves, light and dark.
