ABOUT ERNIE HAYDEN I am a bird, wildlife, and landscape photographer in Anacortes, Washington USA. Photography has always been my passion. My favorite genres of photography include bird, wildlife, landscape, architecture, and travel. I have also received training in forensic photography through the Texas A&M Engineering Extension (TEEX). My portfolio includes birds, landscapes, and architecture from around the world. I am also a sports photojournalist for the local newspapers in Anacortes and Skagit County, Washington. My favorite things to capture are American Bald Eagles, shore birds, maritime-related photos, old farm buildings with charisma. My images have been used in newspaper articles and online for the Skagit Valley Herald and Anacortes American newspapers. I am also a contract photographer for these newspapers doing sport-related and public interest photos. I provided the photo used for the cover of my book, Critical Infrastructure Risk Assessment – The Definitive Threat Identification and Threat Reduction Handbook published by Rothstein Publishing.
